Nuki knitting pattern by Kineco Design

Nuki -貫- features a stitch pattern inspired by Nuki joinery, a traditional Japanese architectural technique.
It is worked seamlessly from the top down.
The yoke is first worked flat, then joined at the underarms to be worked in the round for the body.

Start German Short Rows

R1-14: Work R1-14 of Back Yoke Chart flat
> Work short rows, beginning R1 (RS) at Ma and R2 (WS) at Mb,
maintaining Main Pattern
> Remove the markers after the first short row on each side
> Work short rows every 7 sts, 6 times on each side
> At the end, 8 repeats of Main Pattern will have been worked
